Amanda Kent's
Wellness Made Easy
My yoga journey began at a time when I was in need of great healing, both physically and emotionally, and I am so glad it did. My entire life, I've been drawn to nature and the practice of meditation but still had some difficulty weaving it into my busy every day life. A few years ago, I began attending yoga retreats and found that the amazing supportive community left me feeling so full that I had to keep going back for more! I eventually decided to dive into a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training program but had no idea just how incredibly helpful the tools I was learning would be. My goal is now to share those tools with as many people as possible.
In my classes, we practice not just postures and their modification options but also breathwork and meditation, as well. Yoga is not just about reaching those beautiful, advanced poses but also about figuring out what your individual body needs, strengthening it, and adding health, gratitude, and relaxation to your day; It can also be incredibly helpful for processing anxieties, past traumas, and residual "stuck" emotions. With this program, I want to share what I've learned with others in a format that is easily duplicatable and provide students with a safe space to explore what their own personal physical and spiritual needs are.

I received my YTT200 instruction at the Essence of Yoga Center in Richmond, Kentucky. They also offer a 300 hour program, and if you are considering either, I highly recommend them!
